Furniture Care

Craftique Furniture Care

Product Care:

The care of your Craftique Furniture is as important as the quality that Craftique builds in through the original manufacturing process. In order to keep your pieces looking luxurious, as well as continuing to enhance the beauty of your family heirloom, proper care is essential. At Craftique, every piece of furniture is made to order and additional steps are taken to clean and polish every piece prior to shipment. This light coat of polish applied at the factory is the initial step in protecting your furniture.

Craftique Furniture Care

Fine mahogany furniture does not need to be "over-cleaned" or "over-polished" in order to prolong the integrity and beauty of the piece. These simple yet important care techniques will ensure the continual beauty of your Craftique furniture:

DUST: Twice a month or as needed

  • Always use a dean, soft, and slightly dampened doth each time you dust, wiping in the direction of the wood grain
  • Never use DRY clothes; this will grind the dust into the finish leaving scratches
  • Feather dusters stir dust only to cover furniture once again

POLISH: Once every one to three months

  • Always apply polish to doth, never directly onto furniture
  • Always follow directions on the bottle
  • Polishes that contain silicone and wax are not recommended

CLEAN: Once a year

  • Murphy's Oil Soap
  • Guardsman Cleaning Products
  • Always follow directions on bottle
